The Presidential Inauguration Committee will be using Silverlight to stream the Inauguration Ceremonies on Tuesday, January 20.  If you don’t have Silverlight installed, here’s a link to the download. Follow the link to the PIC2009 website to view the event.

Silverlight coming to the Democratic National Convention

Both political parties are trying to leverage technology to enhance the experience of their respective political conventions. The DNCC has selected Microsoft as the Official Software and HD Web Content Provider for the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver and Vertigo, a Microsoft Partner, the Official Microsoft Silverlight Application Development Services Provider. Sports fans have the Beijing Olympics and wonks will have gavel to gavel coverage to enjoy.
